How to Conduct a Quality Check After Every Job

A job isn't truly finished until it’s been checked. Conducting a quick quality check after each cleaning ensures every detail was handled with care—and nothing gets overlooked.

Start by doing a slow walk-through of the space. Look at it through the client’s eyes. Are the floors spotless? Are surfaces dust-free? Is everything smelling fresh and looking tidy? Small touches like straightened items or a clean entryway leave a lasting impression.

Use your checklist, but don’t just rush through it. Touch high-traffic areas, glance at corners, and double-check bathrooms and kitchens—these are the first spots people notice.

Take photos if needed, especially for repeat clients or shared reports. And if something’s not quite right, fix it on the spot.

A few extra minutes of checking protects your reputation, boosts client satisfaction, and shows you take pride in every job—big or small.
